You want to focus on the player to flop ratio, the amount of players to see the flop. If theres 10 players at the table and on average there are 4 players seeing the flop then that’s a 40% player to flop ratio.
For example, if you playing at the full ring limit holdem tables then you should never select a table under 35% plr/flp (player to flop ratio) because the players at this table is full of winning players with a tight hand range. You will most likely lose your buyin.
You also don’t want to select a table with over 50% plr/flp because the table is full of losing poker players but these players hand range is too wide and they most likely don’t know when to fold which will result in a lot of bad beats and you will question your play even though you played it right.
The best limit holdem tables are ones with around 40% plr/flp. There are enough players in the pot on the flop to have a nice pot size and some of these players are most likely losing players with a break hand range. With a tight hand selection, great position play, and ABC post flop play you can easily earn 1 to 3 big bets per 100 hands.
